The Henry Ford Health System, in conjunction with the Joint Commission, has released a how-to manual for healthcare organizations looking to sustain and enforce their smoke-free hospital property policies.
The 28-page manual, “Keeping Your Hospital Property Smoke-Free,” is the result of a four-year research project funded by the Flight Attendant Medical Research Institute and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The manual is available on the Joint Commission’s website.
